Hotel Riverside - Uddevalla

The location of the hotel was perfect for our new year celebrations. It was close to the town center and had easy access to transportation. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. The staff was also friendly and helpful at all times.

The reception desk was often unmanned, and it took us a while to get assistance. The hotel seemed to be used as office space, and the breakfast area was a bit crowded during peak hours. However, these were minor issues that did not ruin our overall experience.

The room size was ok

In a hotel I expect a window to be opened and from which you can look out. There was a window but behind the window was another room so that no daylight comes in, no view and above all no air. It was like in a box.

The hotel location is great as it's within walking distance to the city center and next to a busy harbor. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and in good condition. the included breakfast is good, and staff is friendly and helpful. the hotel offers spacious car parking, and free WiFi works well. the hotel has an up-market restaurant that adds to its charm.

The front glass doors could have been cleaner to give a better first impression to guests.

Wonderful beds, adjustable and comfortable. Easy walking distance to city center and sports event. Clean inside, plenty of parking. Staff is very service-minded, accommodating, and friendly. Larger rooms and bathrooms compared to other hotels. Fresh air and nice view. Own kitchen and parking included. Good breakfast.

Nothing, it was perfect.

Proximity to Uddevalla Centre and location next to river with sail boats moored alongside,quite unique coastal promenade nearby- really nice to walk , beautiful coastline -a must!

The hotel was very quiet, although when doors to rooms slammed shut the whole room seem to absorb the impact. Would have liked tea coffee making facilities in the room.

This hotel is great value for money! The prices were reasonable and we were pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail throughout our stay. The location is superb, situated in a quiet area close to the sea and within walking distance of the market. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The rooms were basic but clean, with comfortable double beds in good condition. The breakfast offered a good variety of options to start the day.

All was great, no improvements needed!

The location was very convenient for exploring the town and nearby attractions. the beds were comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep. having a kitchenette with a fridge and stove top was a nice bonus.

The wifi in our room didn't work, which was disappointing. the cleanliness of the hotel could have been better.

Delay to check in. My bedroom window looked into an internal store room within the hotel. No switch for light in the bathroom (or bulb gone). The hot food at breakfast was sub-standard (other options were okay).
